ALETRO Preliminary Proposal

After quite a bit of work and some very appreciated input from our reviewers, we're releasing the preliminary proposal for the ALETRO project, which you can find in PDF form here {old version--link removed}.

ALETRO Beginnings

We are finalizing an initial proposal, an overview document that details the purpose and functions for ALETRO. The document will be made available through this site and our sister site, http://www.lunarlanding.info.

ALETRO will help locate, preserve, and make publicly available personal collections, documents, and artifacts related to NASA programs and personnel largely from the Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo programs. The coming months and years leading up to the return to the Moon and the beginnings of the Altair flights should prove most exciting.
